It's time for cold blood to meet hot lead in Dino Era: Jurassic Blood!

A fast-paced, first-person shooter and 3D platformer, and love letter to Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. Take on hordes of reptilian foes as you fight your way through 3 unique levels using an arsenal of 6 unique weapons!

Dino Era: Jurassic Blood is the capstone project of a team of game design graduates (under the name Team ManBearPig) from Full Sail University. This was the culmination of 5 months of hard work. Nevertheless, this game is a student project and there are bound to be imperfections.

Dino Era: Jurassic Blood can be played within Itch.io using Unity WebGL for free, or you can download the executable, also at no cost.

Please, take Dino Era: Jurassic Blood as it is, and we hope you enjoy your time playing!

VERY FUN GAME DEV

Thanks for playing our game! We are happy you enjoyed!

Hello,

The game is super fun-to-play with such an interesting environment and the concept of the game is cool too, however, there are a few grounds on which this game could be polished even more are -

  • The Game starts with an empty Unity scene for a few seconds and then loads the actual game.
  • The game feels laggy sometimes on start but then becomes smooth ahead.
  • While shooting you would add muzzle flash and other things related to the player's gun which could potentially give some good user feedback.
  • On shooting the enemy, the enemy should react to the bullet hit, currently, that's the major missing in the game.
  • The enemy should also have targeted damage, for example, the enemy should die instantly if shot on the head or else take a few bullets in the body instead to die.
  • The Game Difficulty should rise gradually instead of introducing everything at the start.
  • The movement mechanics and especially the player controller system could be more polished.
  • The limited ammo is hard to get again once exhausted.
  • Adding a camera shake on shoot could also be a great thing to add.

And a few more things that you can check and improve upon your own. Apart from all these things, the game feels great and interesting to play.
